Study in Germany

Europe's engineering powerhouse

Little or no tuition at public universities in most states, strong English-taught options, and an 18-month post-study job-seeker visa. We handle the parts that trip people up — APS, blocked accounts, uni-assist — before they cost you an intake.

APS: the step that decides your timeline

Students applying from India need an APS certificate — an academic verification by the APS office — before a German student visa application. Processing takes weeks and cannot be rushed, which makes APS the single most common reason students miss their intake.

Our rule: APS starts on day one of your Germany plan, in parallel with university applications — never after an admission letter arrives. We track it as a hard deadline in your case file.

Two honest routes

Public or private — we'll tell you which fits

Most agencies push whichever earns them more. We explain both lanes and recommend what fits your profile and budget — in writing.

Lane A

Public universities

Little or no tuition in most federal states (Baden-Württemberg charges non-EU fees; everyone pays a small semester contribution). World-class engineering and sciences. Competitive entry, German-paced admissions, APS + uni-assist discipline required.

Lowest costHigher entry bar

Lane B

Private & applied-sciences options

Tuition-charging institutions with multiple intakes, English-first admissions and faster decisions — a legitimate route when timing, profile or program fit points that way. We disclose exactly why we recommend one.

Funding

German funding we help you pursue

DAAD

Germany's national funding body — scholarships across hundreds of programs, mostly at master's level. Competitive; we assess your realistic chances first.

Deutschlandstipendium

Merit-based €300/month at participating universities, open to international students — applied for after enrolment.

The real "scholarship"

Honestly? Germany's near-zero public tuition is worth more than most scholarships elsewhere. We budget your plan on real numbers, not scholarship hopes.

Germany FAQs

What families ask us about Germany

Is Germany really tuition-free?

At public universities in most federal states, yes — you pay only a semester contribution of roughly €150–350. Baden-Württemberg charges tuition to non-EU students, and private institutions charge their own fees. Living costs are the real budget item.

How much money must I show in the blocked account?

Currently around €11,900 for a year, deposited before your visa application; German authorities update the figure periodically, and we confirm the current amount when you apply. Every Germany-bound student needs this plus health insurance.

Can I study in English in Germany?

Widely at master's level, and increasingly for bachelor's. For daily life and part-time jobs, basic German helps a lot — start learning before you fly.

What are my chances of staying after graduation?

Germany offers an 18-month job-seeker visa after graduation, and engineering, IT and healthcare graduates are actively recruited. No one can promise you a job — we can promise you a realistic plan for finding one.
